I recently had the great luck to win an online sweepstakes winning over a $1000.00 worth of gear from the great folks at Magnum.  I wrote a review about the boots that we got but I thought I would write a little bit more about some of the other gear I picked up from Magnum that I really liked and am wearing pretty much daily.  I like tactical or technical clothing, it is comfortable, filled with great pockets, made from superior cloth and made to be used.

I had a grand to spend with them so I focused on Boots, Work Out Shoes, Pants and Socks as my primary needs.

Work Out Shoes

I picked the Cardio 4:SYS from the line up at Magnum for my workout shoes.  These are well made, great fitting, light and airy.  I like the long laces on these, I really like the weight and the breathability in these shoes.  They are first class and for the price exceptionally value priced at $85.00 direct from Magnum.

Tactical RD Pants

Magnum provides a great line of Pants.  RD Tactical Pants and RD stands for Ready Deployment and these pants are pretty much ready for anything.  I bought several pairs of these in each available color and I have been wearing them non-stop as it has cooled down.  They are practical enough for travel with tons of pockets and the fit is exceptional.  They are easy to wash, fold and store. 

These pants are tough and built for men in the line of duty and whether you are wearing them on the job or in the field, I think your going to be really happy with the durability of these pants.  I recently wore them out on a business trip with a quality polo and felt comfortable and at ease in the business environment as I would in the field.  The locations of the pockets are very well placed and my only grip is that I would like to have at least one or two pockets with zippers, especially my back wallet pocket but that wont stop me from buying more of these over the years.

SF-3 Socks

The Magnum SF-3 Socks really wowed me.  I needed new socks, my socks drawer had been getting pretty lean from either missing pairs, a son who likes dad's socks when he cannot find a pair of his own and general use so I jumped at the chance to fill my sock drawer up with some quality socks that were just a little bit different then the white socks that have been a staple in my household for years.  I opted for the SF-3 in Desert Tan and boy am I glad I did...These socks are pretty much heaven.  The toes and heal have a slight bit of padding, the socks breath well but what I like most is the compression strap through the middle of the foot.  This compression strap is a slight bit lighter and breathes easier and keeps the socks tight to my feet.  I will absolutely be wearing these in all but the most extreme conditions for quite some time.
