Huntinglife Podcast 96: The Bowtech Invasion

In today's podcast we are shooting the Bowtech Invasion. The Invasion truly is top of the line, featuring innovative technology such as the CPX design, Overdrive binary Cams, Hardocore limbs, FLX-guard plus much more. All of this adds up to a high output system that is blazing fast, quiet, consistent, and pinpoint accurate.

The best part about the Invasion is its "feel". It is very light, extremely well balanced and has a super smooth draw cycle. The deflexed riser minimizes torque and riser twist, therefore increasing accuracy. This is achieved by the grip being placed in front of the limbs pivot points rather than behind them, as found in reflexed risers. The Overdrive binary cam system also sends arrows on the flattest, most direct path to their intended target by working in perfect synchronization. Another great addition is the FLX-guard which again, minimizes torque by absorbing cable guard torque that is normally transferred to the riser. All in all, the technology found in the Invasion makes it one fine machine.

The only problem that I encountered with the Invasion was its lack of forgiveness. Guilty of not having great fundamentals, the bow is fairly responsive to mediocre technique. That being said, I wouldn't label it a beginners bow, however for those casual shooters who have shot for a while have decent technique, the bowtech invasion is an investment worth considering. And at 343 fps, you better act fast!
