Wingshooting Adventures has been importing fine shotguns and providing driven bird shooting adventures in Hungary, Spain and Scotland for more then thirty years.  We started dove shooting expeditions in Mexico and now our main expeditions for dove shooting have changed to pigeon shooting exclusively in Paraguay and Bolivia.

Our passion has been great bird shooting and find double guns.  Over the years we have been blessed with many great groups of shooters and wives who accompany us on these great European shooting adventures.  We have become great friends with many of our clients and many of our clients build lasting friendships on these great trips.  All of our trips have been shared with wonderful people who share a passion and a love for great bird shooting and fine shotguns.

Driven Pheasant Shooting in Hungary

"Discovery is travel's sweet reward to find some new and unexpected place that lays hold  of your heart.  Part of mine is still in Hungary, among the pheasants on the Tisza Plain.  Now that the Iron Curtain no longer obscures the view, Hungary is a new world waiting to be explored, and part of what's been hidden from the West for a generation or more is the  finest driven pheasant shooting on the Continent.  Her rich hunting tradition once was the private domain of royalty, usurped by the Communist dictators and bureaucrats.  Now it's available to anyone who might like the experience of  culture steeped in history; of the beautiful city known as the Paris of Eastern Europe; a people extraordinarily warm; a superb cuisine; and shooting of a quality you'd be hard pressed to find anywhere else in the world. You'll find it all in Hungary, and it can steal your heart.  Call that serendipity.  Call it sweet reward."

Driven Bird Shooting in Scotland

Join us this Fall for a classic Scottish driven bird shoot at Harburn House, one of the finest facilities in Scotland for driven bird shooting.   Located about 30 miles from Edinburgh, Harburn House is situated on 2,000 acres of beautiful countryside especially managed to provide a unique shooting experience.

Pheasants are the primary quarry, but a mixed bag of ducks, partridge, and woodcock is usually taken.  The terrain is such that on most drives the birds are high and fast flying targets which offer a challenge to the best of shots.  This is driven bird shooting developed through the years to its finest degree, and is unsurpassed anywhere in the United Kingdom.

Harburn House, originally built early in the 17th century, was destroyed by Cromwell in 1630.  Rebuilt in 1803, it was bought in 1830 by an ancestor of its present owner, Humphrey Spurway.  The manor, which is for our exclusive use while we are there, was recently remodeled with the most modern facilities, while much of the furnishings from earlier years were integrated to provide a most pleasant combination of the old and the new.  The cuisine rivals anything to be found anywhere in Europe.

We will have three full days of driven shooting plus a Sunday tour arranged by Carolyn Dietrich In beautiful Scotland for the whole group.

Special tours are arranged by Carolyn for non-shooters during the shoot days.  Please  contact us at your earliest convenience if you are interested or you would like additional information.

Prices Include:  Three full days of driven shooting with 90 birds per gun included in the basic price.  Five nights at Harburn House, all meals and drinks included.  Complete hunting organization.  All transport to and from shooting grounds to and from the airport.

Prices Do not Include:  Airfare, Ammunition, Telephone Calls, Telegrams, faxes and hotel expenses above room charges and Tips.

We can arrange trips for parties of six to ten shooters between October and February.

Scotland Price Per Shooter $9450.00, Price for Companion(non-shooter) $2450.00

Shooting in Bolivia

About 15 million birds arrive in Bolivia from mid April to November attracted by crops on vast plantations around Santa Cruz consisting of sorghum, soybeans, and sunflowers. These crops keep the huge bird populations in the ar ea for many months. The major birds are doves and pigeons and we are able to concentrate on pigeon shooting exclusively.

Our lodges are excellent and the food and wines are first class. We have four total days of pigeon shooting and our transport to and from the shooting fields is minimal. The support staff is most helpful and very friendly. Our Bolivian host has 12 and 20 gauge ammunition available and it is good “stuff”.

We have been doing our Bolivian shoot for many years and have had great success and a lot of “fun”. Our last night in Bolivia is spent in Santa Cruz at a very “ritzy” hotel and dinner out that evening is at one of the finest restaurants in all of Bolivia.

Prices Include:  All transport, airport pickup, passage through customs, accommodations, meals and great wine.  Stay in Santa Cruz, evenings out in a great restaurant.

Prices do not Include: Ammunition(Approximately $10.00 per box), Airfare & Tips(average around $200.00)

Bolivia Price Per Shooter $3950.00
