MULE DEER HUNTS

Wild Times Adventures offers two types of mule deer hunts. Option 1 - Is a pack in hunt on horseback to a
remote tent camp. Option 2 - Hunt is either out of a tent camp that is reached by vehicle, or based out of a
motel in Challis, Id. With Option 2 - Either the tent camp or the motel hunt, hunting will be done on foot. Once a
buck is taken a pack animal will be brought in to pack out the deer.

*For the tent camp hunt, you will be driven to our camp location and then all hunting is done on foot from that
camp. Meals and warm comfortable tents are provided.

For the Town hunt, the guides will meet you early in the morning and then drive you to the hunting area.
Hunting will be done on foot for the remainder of the day, returning to the motel that evening. All meals &
rooms for the clients are the responsibility of the clients.

At this time the mule deer hunt in our area is an unlimited controlled hunt and is for the one week only the last
week of October. An unlimited controlled hunt means that you will be guaranteed a tag but will be restricted to
the area drawn for, and for that particular hunt.

We have a great mule deer hunting area with deer seen every day. Of course weather plays a role in the
greatness or the mediocre hunting as is the case with most hunting.

 Elk Hunts

We are blessed to hunt a Beautiful and challenging mix of sage brush and pine forest. We have a rich supply o mature bulls and our area is listed by the Idaho Fish & Game as having one of the highest bull to cow ratio's in the state. Our area has dense timber pockets surrounded by open sage brush country which allowes us excellent visibility. Please consider one of these excellent elk hunt options.

Black Bear Hunts

Spring in the mountains is an amazing time! Our Spring Bear Hunts offer sites and sounds that will be remembered for a lifetime. The weather is usually very nice and you should be able to see & photograph elk, deer, moose and other game.
Bears are very abundant in our area and have been managed very well. Black colored bears predominate, but we have a lot of color phase blondes, chocolates and cinnamons. We most often hunt over bait but our area has great visibility for spot and stalking also. The large number of bears takes a lot of pressure off which allows for a more relaxing hunt. Our bear hunt dates usually fill up pretty quickly so book early to secure the date of your choice!

Mountain Lion Hunts

Mountain Lion are abundant in our area. These are hunts that depend heavily on favorable weather conditions, but with good snow cover, success for our lion hunts has been excellent. This is truly an adventure, hunting behind hounds, and enjoying the chase in a beautiful mountain area. Be in shape for this one, terrain varies from moderate to very difficult. We will be on foot and often in snow shoes for the hunt. Lion hunts begin in December and run through January. These hunts will be conducted out of a local motel in Challis, Idaho. Lunch will be provided, but all other meals and lodging are the responsibility of the hunter. All hunts are 8 days in length
