Whitetail Creek Outfitters

Whitetail Creek Outfitters and Lodge is owned and operated by Butch and Connie McElwain.  For the last 11 years Butch has been outfitting on almost 3000 acres of leased and owned private land in the heart of Trigg County, Kentucky.  Butch McElwain has been practicing QDM on this 3,000 acres of prime hunting land for the last 9 years and the trophy Kentucky Whitetails his hunters are beginning to take off of this land are exceptional.

Whitetail Creek Outfitters is located in Cadiz, Kentucky; 5 minutes from Western Kentucky's Land Between the Lakes.  Trigg County is one of the most productive counties in the state when it comest to trophy whitetail and long beard gobblers.  Our mix of hard woods, food plots and agricultural farm land provides hunters with the choices of what kind of hunting they would like to do.

With over 14 enclosed stands, 40 ladder stands and 10 blinds you never have to hunt the same stand twice.  Because we offer a Quality Deer Management experience we ask that all of our hunters take bucks that are 8 points or better and outside the ears.

Our cedar guest lodges are rustic log cabins and very comfortable.  We do limit the number of hunters to eight per hunt to better service our clients. We have two cabins that sleep 6 each. At Whitetail Creek Lodge we not only want our hunters to be successful but also to have a memorable experience.

We offer two bow hunts per year, 3 gun hunts and 2 muzzleloader hunts.  Our hunts are 100% fair chase and we never charge a trophy fee. 

Our cooks will never leave you hungry and our Southern cooking will keep you coming back for more. 

We have a complete 3-D archery range and a shooting tower for our bow hunters to check their bows and sharpen their shooting skills.  For the gun hunters, we have a shooting range available to sight in their guns.

Whitetail Hunts

Archery Hunts are four day hunts including rut hunts

Muzzleloader and Rifle hunts can be 2 or 3 day hunts and 4 day rut hunts depending upon your available time.

You may take one buck and two does.

License and tags may be purchased over the counter.

Turkey Hunts

One to five day hunts. 

All hunts are one on one guide or two on one guide.

What we provide:

Lodging, two meals per day; Prime hunting areas; Transportation to and from hunting site; Field dressing of deer and bringing it to the lodge; Walk-in cooler; Quality hunting stands.
