Sundown Outfitting is a well established and organized outfitter in Southwestern Alberta.  We have been successfully guiding clients to trophy class animals for 8 years.  We are a well rounded outfitting company offering hunts for Elk, Moose, Muledeer, Whitetail Deer and Black Bear.  We have been very fortunate to have clients such as Tim Wells come and hunt with us and he has produced many shows with our team for Relentless Pursuit.

When hunting Muledeer with Sundown Outfitting it is not unrealistic to harvest a 175 class buck or better.  The reason for this is because the Wildlife Management Unit that we are hunting is on a lottery draw for resident hunters.  Most of the Muledeer hunting is done on about 30,000 acres of private land.

Whitetail Deer hunts are on a private ranch of 4600 acres.  Sundown Outfitting has exclusive rights to hunt this ranch an you will not see other hunters.  We have not hunted this ranch for two years to let the deer herd grow and mature.

Our Moose hunts are in an incredible zone where a hunter should have an opportunity at a 45 inch Shiras Moose or better.  We only do 2 Moose hunts a year.

We are experienced guides and love to bow hunt or rifle hunt.  Our success rate for both weapons is an 80% kill rate. 

When booking a hunt with Sundown Outfitting we do our best to customize the hunt to suit each client.  We hunt about 35,000 acres of private land and about 100,000 acres of public land.

Hunters fly into Calgary and we pick up and drive South for two hours to camp.  We handle all pick up and deliveries to and from the airport.

Lodging is two ranch houses right where we do 90% of our hunting.  All meals are included in the cost of our our hunts and we do our best to put you on the trophy of your dreams.
