Pennington Creek Hunting Club (PCHC)Located in the heart of Whitetail Country in Southern Oklahoma with over 9,400 acres of private Johnston County ranchland near Mill Creek, PCHC offers world class hunting.

One of Oklahoma's most beautiful streams, Pennington Creek, forms from a majestic spring just off the North side of the ranch. It winds through over three miles of our ranch bringing in a wide range of wildlife, not to mention being stockpiled with Smallmouth Bass. The dense woodlands on our ranch well mixed with the open grassland offers you an excellent chance at getting your kill of a lifetime.

The managed hunting on our ranch has stockpiled an abundance of mature Whitetail Bucks and Rio Grande Turkeys offering prime hunting.

You will also find an abundance of wild hogs. Hunt these wild hogs year round from any of our hunting zones, each setup with a tower box blind for rifle hunters, quad pod for archery hunters, spin-cast corn feeder, and a protein feeder. We feed year round, so these hogs know where their permanent food source is.

Lodging:

A clean, comfortable, easily-accessed, but secluded hunting cabin is located on the ranch. Capable of sleeping six, our hunting cabin has all the amenities of a person’s home. The cabin includes a fully furnished bedroom, living room, full bath, and full kitchen, as well as a fully enclosable (depending on the weather) outdoor pavilion just outside the hunting cabin. This pavilion has gas and charcoal grills, as well as a place to sit out around the fire.  

Whitetail Deer Hunting:

 
The Whitetail hunting is fantastic on our ranch.  We started a protein supplement program in 2006 and have not let up.  Corn and protein is fed year round at all of our hunting zones.  By working with our Oklahoma Game Biologist and their Deer Management Assistance Program (DMAP) we are able to take 50 to 70 doe each fall.  The combination of our protein program and our doe management program is allowing the whitetails in our area to be very healthy, and we are seeing a lot of mature trophy bucks throughout our ranch.

There are over 12 deer hunting zones set up across the ranch. Each hunting zone is set up with a protein feeder, spin cast corn feeder, food plot, tower box blind, and a quad pod. The quad pods are set up close to the spin cast corn feeders in each zone for archery hunters, and the tower blinds are very comfortable two man blinds.
 
This is a 3 day 3 night trip with lodging in our hunting cabin. This trip also includes all meals, with a continental breakfast in the early morning before the hunt, a full breakfast after the hunters are picked from the morning hunt, and sandwiches or burgers before the afternoon hunt.

The dinners are great at Pennington Creek Hunting Club. We serve deer chicken fry's and all the sides, with everything including peach cobbler cooked over the campfire! This is great fun to watch and even better to eat. One evening we will cook one of the best Rib-eye steaks you will ever eat.

After you get a kill, we will clean, skin, and hang your animal's carcass in our walk in cooler. Before you leave we’ll cut out the backstraps, quarter up your kill, and send you on the way with your trophy; caped out and ready for you to take to your local taxidermist!

Turkey Hunting:

PCHC offers the opportunity to harvest a trophy Rio Grande Tom. The only competition for your calling ability will be live hens!  Our woods and creek bottoms are covered with mature toms.  You better book early if you are wanting this trip due to that we limit the number of hunters each year in order to keep the turkey hunting prime!  This is 2 day spring hunt with the option of taking a second tom.  Lodging and all meals are included on this hunt.  If you feel like putting your waders on and getting in the creek during the afternoon, the Smallmouth Bass Fishing is excellent this time of year.   Our turkey season in Oklahoma is always April 6 to May 6.

Wild Hog Hunting:

 
We have a lot of big hogs on our place.  They roam all across our 9,400 acre low fence ranch and they know right where our feeding locations are, giving you an excellent chance to kill a big trophy hog.  There are no trophy fees or size limitations.

This is a 2 day semi-guided hog hunt which includes lodging and Smallmouth Bass Fishing . This will be stand type hog hunting from comfortable two man tower blinds in front of baited holes and allows for the take of two hogs each hunter. On this hunt we give you the choice of bringing in your own food, or we can take care of all that for you and let you relax after your hunt and enjoy some great meals prepared by our camp cook. Full kitchen/cooking facilities or our outside grill allow your group the flexibility of preparing meals to your own liking if you desire. Also bring your favorite fishing rod and a pair of waders, and fish your heart out for Smallmouth Bass on our 3 miles of Pennington Creek.

Game Processing Area:

Guests of PCHC have access to a  covered game processing area and walk-in cooler conveniently located adjacent to the cabin.  We will hang your carcass in the walk in cooler until your departure.

Our range is only a short drive from the cabin and we encourage guests to use it so that you don’t miss the kill of a lifetime!
