At Granite Springs we understand that a hunts success isn't measured by the number of birds killed, or miles walked. What we strive to give you is the pheasant hunting experience we'd want our sons and daughters to have on their first hunt: to wake in the morning with the anticipation of catching a rainbow trout, watching the mallards circle or to see that clay burst into fragments with a well aimed shot; of spending the afternoon with friends walking the fields, watching the dogs quarter the field in front of you and retrieving that rooster pheasant you brought down, the rooster whose colors are as vibrant as an open flame and that rose like a bull elephant charging from the brush, cackling as it fought to gain the sky an experience that leaves you so excited by the day's events that you do not even taste the fantastic meal; during the evening's telling, you can't recall how you made the shot not even seeing the front bead or remembering mounting the gun. Afterwards you go to bed because that will help make tomorrow come more quickly. Finally you fall asleep while anticipating doing it all again the next day…

Pheasant Hunting: Every day at Granite Springs is like opening day anywhere else. Our Pheasant and Chuckar Partridge hunting combined with Rainbow Trout fishing on over 12,000 acres of CRP grasslands, food plots and our private lake allow us to make the memories of a lifetime for you, or to bring back the hunting excitement of your youth.
We like to hunt in small groups of 6-8 hunters over our professionally trained dogs, or bring your own dog. The day can be paced as fast or leisurely as you wish because our experienced staff members will ensure a carefree hunt as we handle the details and you do the shooting.
Noteworthy hunting, fantastic food, good friends plus finishing each day by the fire place looking out over the lake are what await you here at Granite Springs.
Hunting Package and Rates: Upland Hunt- $375.00 per day, per hunter. Includes: 3 pheasants per day, lodging, meals, guides, dogs, trout fishing, local transportation, kennel use and access to clays range. We do offer additional pheasants of up to 12 per day at a cost of $25 per bird that are released each spring on our special preserve. Free Lodging and Meals for Children and Spouses during your stay.
