Sportsman Channel is Clucking and Gobbling with “Talkin’ Turkey” Presented by Can Am ATVs and Side by Side Vehicles This Saturday, February 25

New Berlin, WI – February 22, 2012 – Tune into Sportsman Channel this Saturday, February 25 for the sounds of purring, clucking and gobbling with “Talkin’ Turkey” presented by Can Am ATVs and Side by Side Vehicles.  From 9 am to 1 pm ET this Saturday, February 25, watch non-stop turkey action with shows like Brotherhood Outdoors and Relentless Pursuit and brand new episodes from Respect Outdoors and Outdoor Junkies.

 “Talkin’ Turkey” kicks off on Saturday, February 25, as the network presents four hours of turkey-specific programming from 9 am to 1 pm EST. Shows like Sportsman of North America and Trophy State of Mind will showcase their best turkey episodes during the block. The special programming continues on Saturday, March 3 with turkeys taking over the airwaves from 9 am to 1 pm EST with series G3 Sportsman, Canada in the Rough and Skull Bound TV.

 

Thanks to conservation efforts on behalf of hunters, more than seven million wild turkeys now roam North America, with huntable populations in every U.S. state but Alaska. According to the National Wild Turkey Federation,  nearly three million sportsmen and women considering themselves turkey hunters, all paying taxes on their equipment and buying hunting licenses.
