ALPS OutdoorZ Introduces New Traverse Pack
New Haven, MO – ALPS OutdoorZ is thrilled to announce the addition of the Traverse pack (54L) to their line of hunting packs. “Our pack line has been growing like rapid fire the past couple of years, because our packs are high quality, durable, and affordable, and the Traverse will be a key player for 2012,” said Zach Scheidegger, product manager.
The Traverse is so modular, it can hold your bow or gun, haul out meat, and carry your spotting scope & tripod, all while being extremely comfortable. For a pack, the key to carrying weight comfortably is to have a strong frame and a rock-solid, adjustable suspension, and that’s exactly what the Traverse has, making it one of the most advanced internal-frame packs in the industry. It features a unique “H” frame design, made of strong, but lightweight, tubular aluminum. This frame, combined with a multi-layer foam waist belt with a PE outer layer, and an adjustable torso range, gives this pack the suspension system needed to carry heavy loads comfortably. The expandable bow/gun pocket is also an essential part of the pack because it allows you to keep your hands free when you’re conquering the rough terrain. The front zippered “wing pockets” allow you to protect and securely latch in your bow or gun, or allow you to securely carry out your meat when the pack is used in the hauling mode. Other pockets on the pack include the main pocket, side pocket, internal fleece lined pocket, and two easy-access pockets on the waist belt to help keep your gear organized.
Other features on the Traverse include: padded shoulder harness with load lifters, extension lashing straps included for extra-large loads, hydration pocket & port, side compression straps to attach extra gear, and an included blaze orange rain cover. Pattern options available: Brushed Realtree AP HD or Brushed Advantage MAX-1 HD. The suggested retail price is $149.99.
