Wyoming Wildlife Federation 2008 Dream Hunt Sweepstakes
Every Year, I am slammed with requests for which drawings and raffles to support both personally and to bring to all of you. Over the next several weeks I am going to be supporting two such raffles because I think they are good raffles and I know where the money is being sent.
The Wyoming Wildlife Federation 2008 Dream Hunt Sweepstakes is just such a raffle. For your hard earned money, you have a chance at a Commissioners Tag to hunt in Elk Area #100. You could not get a better opportunity to win some great tags.

"It was a great hunt and I am lucky to have had this opportunity after not winning a tag through the regular drawing ... I think this is a great opportunity the WWF offers and I hope next year's winner has as much fun and success as I had this year." David Frey, 2007 Winner
Dear Wildlife Enthusiast,
Here at Wyoming Wildlife Federation (WWF) we spend a lot of time thinking about hunting. We even dream about hunting, but this is no dream. As Wyoming's oldest and largest conservation organization, the WWF was again fortunate to receive 100% fully transferable Commissioners tags from the Wyoming Game and Fish Commission. These tags are valid in any Wyoming hunt area, for elk, deer or pronghorn. For the first time in history, WWF offers you the chance to participate in a raffle for either one or both of our 2008 Dream Hunts:
Have you ever dreamed about hunting for trophy bull elk in Wyoming's most unique and hard-to-draw area? Have you ever dreamed of hunting with an experienced guide who really knew the area, who could get you into those out-of-the-way places where the big bulls are? We can make that dream a reality!
Dream Hunt #1 - Elk Hunt with Walt!
The winner will receive a Commissioners tag to hunt in elk area #100, western Wyoming's fabled Jack Morrow Hills country. This area is hard to draw, with nonresident drawing odds of less than 1% in 2007. And no wonder - the bull: cow ratios there are very high, with lots of mature bulls from which to choose. Your guide will be WWF Executive Director Walt Gasson. Walt is a native of the area, a 31-year veteran of the Wyoming Game and Fish Department and a long-time hunter of these unique desert elk. You'll have 4 days in the field, with lodging and meals provided.
To enter the 2008 WWF Elk Hunt with Walt, just fill out the attached tickets and send them back to us in the enclosed envelope with a contribution of $25 per ticket, 3 for $65 or 5 for $100. Click Here to Print Tickets!
Have you ever dreamed about a spectacular big game hunt in one of Wyoming's most coveted hunt areas with your best hunting buddy? Or maybe having the opportunity to harvest TWO species of Wyoming's legendary elk, deer or antelope yourself? Dream no more!
Dream Hunt #2- The Buddy Hunt!
The winner will receive TWO Commissioners tags, valid in any hunt area in Wyoming. You can include your father, mother, son, daughter, spouse, or best friend in your dream hunt, or you can use both tags yourself to hunt two species for the combination hunt of a lifetime. In addition, you'll receive $1,000.00 in cash to help with expenses.
To enter the 2008 WWF Buddy Hunt, just fill out the attached tickets and send them back to us in the enclosed envelope with a contribution of $30 per ticket, 3 for $80 or 5 for $125. Click Here to Print Tickets!
The drawing for these Dream Hunts will be held August 1, 2008. All proceeds from this event will go toward our mission of protecting and enhancing wildlife habitat, perpetuating quality hunting and fishing, protecting access to public lands and waters, and promoting ethical hunting and fishing.
I hope you will contribute toward our efforts to keep Wyoming a great place to hunt, fish, and recreate. Your support is invaluable.
Thanks for your support and good luck!
