Saint Paul, Minnesota - Pheasants Forever (PF) and Quail Forever (QF) announce the hiring of Bradley P. Heidel of Forest Lake, Minnesota, as the organization's new Director of Special Event Sales. In fact, Brad has already booked over half of the exhibitor booths for the 2009 National Pheasant Fest slated for Madison, Wisconsin on February 6, 7, & 8 in just his first two months with the organization.

As the new Director of Special Event Sales, Heidel will facilitate the advancement and growth of PF's signature event, National Pheasant Fest, as well as other events and celebrations. National Pheasant Fest 2009 will be Pheasants Forever's fifth such event. Nearly 30,000 people attended the fourth-ever Fest this past January in Saint Paul, Minnesota, and the event has grown into the nation's largest event for upland hunters, farmers, sport dog owners and wildlife habitat conservationists. The 2009 Fest will take place at the Exhibition Hall at the Alliant Energy Center.

Businesses interested in participating in National Pheasant Fest 2009 should contact Brad at bheidel@pheasantsforever.org or call (651)209-4956. The Fest show floor layout and event information is also online: http://pheasantsforever.org/page/1/2009pheasantfest.jsp

Heidel is also focused on creating events that highlight PF/QF's mission, the organization's thousands of conservation-minded volunteers and the strong public interest in wildlife conservation. He will also be involved in PF's participation at the 2008 Game Fair in Ramsey, Minnesota where attendees will be able to check out all the attractions on Pheasants Forever Hill. America's original outdoor Game Fair kicks off on Friday, August 8th.

"Brad is a highly dynamic leader, and has a varied background of experiences; including sales and marketing, non-profit fundraising, and tradeshow management that he brings to Pheasants Forever and Quail Forever," said Joe Duggan, the organization's Vice President of Corporate Relations.

"I realized that I wanted to get back to what I enjoyed and cared about, and that's wildlife habitat conservation," said Heidel, who had also spent three years with the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation in fundraising. "Joining Pheasants Forever and Quail Forever was the perfect opportunity to get involved with the restoration and preservation of important natural resources all throughout the country."

Brad and his wife Leslie reside in Forest Lake, Minnesota, with their two children. A proud father of two daughters, Heidel reports that Kennedy caught her first Crappie this spring and Ellen bagged her first buck last November.

Pheasants Forever and Quail Forever are non-profit conservation organizations dedicated to the protection and enhancement of pheasant, quail, and other wildlife populations in North America through habitat improvement, land management, public awareness, and education. PF/QF accounts for more than 125,000 members in 700 local chapters across the continent.
