Organizational Profile:
We are seeking an individual with the talent, passion and desire to promote and grow the Nation's leading upland wildlife habitat conservation organization. Pheasants Forever (PF), with its new division Quail Forever (QF), is a Charity NavigatorÒ 4 Star Non-Profit with over 700 chapters, 115,000 members and a $36 million annual budget.

Nebraska Profile:
There are currently 63 chapters and 11,500 members of PF and QF in the state. In 2007, the combined efforts of PF and QF spent over $2.5 Million on habitat, youth education and habitat equipment. Since 1987, the organization has impacted over 2.2 Million acres of habitat, spent over $20.6 Million, is involved in 41 different innovative partnerships and has an employed staff of 16 people in Nebraska.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • · The team members we desire are innovative and creative thinkers with a proven success of following through with their ideas.
  • · B.A./B.S. in Wildlife Biology, Education, Marketing or related field with practical experience.
  • · Demonstrated ability to work and interact with sportsmen and sportswomen.
  • · Innovative and resourceful self-starter able to work with minimal supervision.
  • · Knowledge of Federal farm programs.
  • · Demonstrated organizational and motivational skills.
  • · Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Job Description & Primary Responsibilities:

  • · Work with local chapters to raise and spend funds for wildlife habitat improvement and youth education.
  • · Work in an atmosphere where providing great customer service is a primary goal and objective.
  • · Work as part of a team to accomplish habitat, chapter fund-raising and development goals.
  • · Organize new PF and QF chapters and events in the region.
  • · Act as a liaison for PF and QF with State and Federal resource agencies.
  • · Promote existing PF and QF programs, merchandise and projects.
  • · Assist regional staff in planning state conventions and educational workshops.
  • · Attend legislative and other meetings of importance to chapters and natural resources.

Starting Salary: Dependent upon qualifications
