It has been a whirlwind for HuntingLife.com and for me personally.  It all started about a year ago with the vision to build a new website and change our image for HuntingLife.com from just a great blog to a National News Source for Hunting, Conservation and the pursuit of your passions in the outdoors.  Our philosophy has never changed but we are extremely excited to announce officially Version 2.0 of both our website and our Hunting Life Weather IPhone Application. 

As well we moved our corporate headquarters to Lincoln, Nebraska so we can be closer to the heartland of America and be within quick easy jumping off points to the worlds greatest hunting.  In the next year we will be hunting vicarously through reports from our Pro Staff in every continent in the world with special emphasis on fair chase hunts.  We currently have pro staff hunting elephant in Africa and pro staff on a do it yourself public land Idaho elk hunt.

Today, the IPhone Application went live and we are extremely pleased wth the progress that we are making in this application and in our partnership with WDT, Inc to bring hunters a tool they can use in the field to help them understand the weather situations they are in and help them plan thier hunts as well protect them from dangerous fast moving weather systems while they are out in the field.  Starting this project, I understood that weather effected my hunting success or failure but I had no idea how much.  Taking time to do more research in the field with both the Kestrel Wind Meter and the Iphone Hunting Life Weather Application, I have been really seeing what a difference the weather is making on game movement and it is keeping me out in the field longer in some situations and in the house in front of the fire when I should be.

HuntingLife.com has also gone through a massive transistion as well from a simple website to a complex International Tool for Hunters to pursue thier passions of Hunting and Conservation.  We have broken the website into several sections to allow our readers to easily find the information they are looking for.  Our website sections are as follows:

As our readers have come to expect we have developed a strong stable of wonderful outdoor writers and contributers to our website and we excited to seperate out the great writing from our team.  Here you will get to read the stories of our adventures, the successes and the failures as well as the knowledge gained from days in the field.

Here we will be running the outdoor news brought to you by the hunting industry and the conservation world.  We will be running the stories and press releases from every source we can possibly come up with providing to you a true outdoor news wire service to keep our readers updated on what is happening in regards to our outdoor world, conservation organizations, second ammendment issues, hunting rights, state reports and updates, international news.

As our readers have come to expect we wil continue to provide the best source of product reviews for new and upcoming products to make our lives easier in the hunting world.  We will continue to strive to provide best in class product reviews with the integrity that you have come to expect.  We strive to provide honest reliable reviews and we will keep you posted on the newest high quality products that we can find.  We will continue to be selective in the products that we do review and as our site grows we will have more and more opportunities to review great products that you want to read about.

We started HuntingLife.com as an outfitter directory and because of the success of our blog and the writing that we were doing in the industry, we became known for our blog and Team HuntingLife.  We will continue to grow our Outfitter Directory to bring you the best in fair chase outfitters all across the world providing you a real source to book that dream hunt of a lifetime.

HuntingLife Video Podcast

We will be providing our video podcast on a weekly basis and in certain circumstances on a daily and hourly basis depending on the timing and location of our team.  We will be filming hunts, providing hunting reports, interviews, product reviews, outdoor news and anything else we can come up with.
